Keystone microbiome in the rhizosphere soil reveals the effect of long-term conservation tillage on crop growth in the Chinese Loess Plateau

Keystone taxa play an important role in soil nutrient cycling and crop growth can be influenced by tillage. We investigated the composition of keystone their relationships with properties under different long-term tillage practices. Four treatments (i.e., CT, conventional tillage; NT, no mulch; RT, reduced SS, subsoiling mulch) were maintained for twenty-one years. Co-occurrence network (CoNet) was constructed to identify taxa, redundancy analysis (RDA) carried out explore between four practices at two stages (elongation grain filling stages) winter wheat. Compared RT had significant effect on microbial community microbiome, while NT SS remarkably altered structure microbiome both stages. Massilia genus CT Sphingomonas, Asanoa Hoeflea genera SS. RDA results showed that significantly correlated organic carbon (SOC), dissolved (DOC) biomass nitrogen (MBN) stages, especially elongation stage. Our further revealed effects might related changes microbiome. study suggests may contribute development sustainable agricultural production Chinese Loess Plateau.
